The fourth edition of the most important rock festival in 2008 took place, and once more Admotion was present in one the most popular musical and cultural event in Argentina.
Quilmes Rock brought together international and national stars on the same stage on March 30th and April 4th, 5th and 6th at River Plate Stadium. Admotion was there to introduce video-on- demand platform from which all rock fans could trace the shows in their four editions and follow interviews with many personalities.
Also, the platform offered users the possibility to upload videos of their own bands that were already recorded or through their webcams. That is how a contest was created, managed by the platform and chosen by the people, which allowed the most voted band to perform in the famous Quilmes Rock stages. The site www.quilmesrock.tv was especially created for that edition. Users were able to enjoy concerts from artists and bands such as Ozzy Osbourne, Korn, Bersuit, Rata blanca, Intoxicados, Los Piojos, among others. This way the Festival acquired broader coverage, providing their followers with a space where they could re-experience the shows through our video-on-demand platform.
Quilmes, is one of the most important beer brands in Argentina. It was founded in 1888 by a German immigrant named Otto Bemberg and the origin of its name is related to the location where it was founded, the city of Quilmes, in Buenos Aires.
Nowadays, Quilmes has 75% of the Argentinean market and is also the sponsorship of the Argentinean National Soccer team.
